As president of the Brazilian delegation of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), he also leads Leggera, a São Paulo-based pizzeria consistently recognized among the best in the world.

His journey began with a strong Italian family tradition in New York and deepened in Naples, where he trained at AVPN and worked in prestigious pizzerias until 2013. That same year, André returned to Brazil and founded Leggera, which quickly became a reference point for true Neapolitan pizza in Latin America.

Beyond his work in the kitchen, André is the author of A FÓRMULA SECRETA (The Secret Formula), a technical book that explores the biochemistry behind pizza dough and fermentation.
