Antonio discovered his love for pizza at just 13 years old, learning the craft from his father.

Although he pursued an academic path in engineering, Antonio ultimately followed his heart—and his heritage—dedicating himself to the art of Neapolitan pizza. In 2017, he moved to Amsterdam and began working at Mangia Pizza. Just a year later, after honing his skills and deepening his culinary vision, he became co-owner of the business with the mission of bringing authentic Neapolitan pizza to the Netherlands.

Antonio’s passion extends beyond pizza. He draws inspiration from fine dining, incorporating elements of high-level cuisine into his work to elevate the pizza experience. Blending technical precision with creativity, he uses mathematical and engineering principles to refine his dough and create a product that’s both traditional and innovative.

Together with his partner Marisa, Antonio shares the warmth and soul of Neapolitan culture through their two beloved pizzerias in Amsterdam—one near Vondelpark and the other in the charming Jordaan district.
