The name “Sitári,” derived from the Greek word for wheat, reflects their deep connection to Sicilian land and tradition. The pizzeria is led by four cousins—Giorgio, Filippo, Alberto, and Giorgio Sorce—who have elevated their family’s culinary legacy through dedication, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.

Sitári quickly gained recognition for its innovative yet authentic approach to Sicilian pizza, with standout creations like the “Cudduruni” and “Sciavurusa” combining tradition with gourmet flair.

Giorgio Sorce, in particular, has earned international acclaim as one of the world’s top pizzaiolos, celebrated for his expertise in dough fermentation and flavour balance.

In 2024, the family expanded their reach with the opening of “Fortuna” in Singapore, bringing their signature Sicilian taste to an international audience.
