The story of J. Antonio Errante and pizza began even before he was born. In 1963, his grandfather brought his father from Partanna, a small town in Sicily’s Trapani province, to Venezuela.

The family carried deep roots in the “white arts”: his grandparents were bakers, and his uncle was both a pizzaiolo and gelato maker. Raised among flour and fire, Antonio’s father embraced gelato as his passion—but the scent of pizza never left the family’s story.
Born to a Sicilian father and Venezuelan mother, Antonio grew up in his father Antonino’s pizzerias and gelaterias. While other kids played, he learned to mix, knead, and bake. Pizza wasn’t just food—it was family, culture, and identity.
At 18, he moved to Italy to study Digital & Virtual Design at IED, where he fell in love with true Neapolitan pizza. After years immersed in Italy’s culinary scene, he returned to Caracas with a clear goal: to bring authentic pizza to Venezuela. He trained at the Accademia Nazionale Pizza DOC, certified Antonino’s Pizza Napoletana, and earned recognition from The Best Pizza among the world’s top 100 pizzerias.
Today, his mission is to share pizza culture across Latin America—training new generations of pizzaioli and honoring the traditions that shaped him. Through dough and fire, Antonio bridges continents, telling a story of heritage, passion, and unity—one pizza at a time.
