
Enzo Coccia was born in Naples in 1962, in the La Duchesca neighbourhood, just behind the city’s central train station.

It was there, in his family’s pizzeria “Fortuna,” that Enzo took his first steps in the pizza world—first as a baker, and then as a pizzaiolo.
Drawing from the experience gained working alongside his father Antonio and his brothers, Enzo opened his first pizzeria in 1994: La Notizia 53, located on Via Caravaggio. In just over 38 square metres, a dream began to take shape and gradually became reality.
In 2010, he opened a second location, La Notizia 94, also on Via Caravaggio, with the aim of offering a different experience—table reservations, original pairings, and new sensory journeys enhanced by a carefully curated selection of wines and craft beers.
In 2000, Coccia also founded Pizza Consulting, a company offering consulting and training for those looking to invest in the world of Neapolitan pizza.
