Juan Gabriel Pérez, professionally known as JuangPizza, is a Colombian-born pizza chef and Executive Chef of Posto Boston, one of the most established pizzerias in the United States. He moved to Boston in 2008 at the age of 19, where he began his culinary journey and joined Posto in 2010 as a pizza maker. 

Through years of dedication and consistent growth, he was appointed Executive Chef in 2016.With over 15 years of experience in the pizza industry, Pérez is recognised for his expertise in both traditional and contemporary Neapolitan-style pizza. 

His approach is rooted in respect for Italian tradition, combined with a strong focus on innovation, fermentation, dough development, ingredient quality, and balance of flavours. Under his leadership, Posto has gained widespread national recognition and has been consistently included among leading pizza references in the United States. 

His work has also received international attention within the global pizza community, highlighting his influence and consistency. Known as JuangPizza, he actively shares his knowledge through education, speaking engagements, and digital platforms, helping to inspire and support the global pizza community while continuing to refine his craft.
