Chef Roberta De Sario was born in Napoli, the heart of Italy and the birthplace of pizza. Growing up surrounded by rich culinary traditions, Roberta discovered her passion for pizza at an early age and has since built over ten years of experience in the kitchen.

She began her journey as a baker pizzaiola in her hometown, learning the art of traditional pizza from some of the best in the business, including the teams at Pizzeria Da Michele Condurro and Franco Pepe. Inspired by their dedication and love for simplicity, Roberta embraced a philosophy rooted in authenticity.

 

Her talent and ambition soon took her beyond Italy. After working in Paris, she moved to Hong Kong in 2018, where she continued her journey alongside Franco Pepe at Kytaly. There, they received international praise for serving some of the best pizza in the world.

 

Today, Chef Roberta leads the kitchens at Motorino and FALCONE in Hong Kong. She specializes in neo-Neapolitan pizza, combining the timeless techniques of her heritage with a modern, creative twist.

 

For Roberta, pizza is more than food—it’s a way to connect with people. Her motto is simple: great pizza should be made with love, shared with joy, and always kept true to its roots.
